Carol Smith
Hello- I was born and raised in Quincy, MA and was confirmed in the Lutheran Church.
I am a graduate from UMASS Amherst with a degree in education. I was an elementary teacher until our three children went to school, then I co-managed Smith's Country Cheese with my daughter.
I enjoy reading, walking and spending time with my 5 grandchildren.
I feel very fortunate to be a member of the United Parish and to serve on the Diaconate.
Martha Dienst
Hi – My name is Martha Dienst. I grew up in the Congregational Church where Jesus was a “good teacher”. It wasn’t until my younger sister came home from Campfire Girls and told me that He was Lord and Savior that I turned my heart to Him at age 16.
From a musical family, I decided to major in organ performance and church music. I play a few other instruments and sing as well. All of my life my favorite part of church has been helping make the music a meaningful worship experience for all ages.
Working at church (in many different ways) is very important to me, as are my husband, 4 children, 3 grandchildren, quilting, and my 3 dogs.
Christ’s work in me evolves and grows. May it never end!
